Christchurch Pre-school provides a caring, warm, welcoming, inclusive, learning environment where the focus is on the individuality of each child. 

Our aim is to work in partnership with parent/carers to inspire and encourage independent, confident lifelong learners.

We offer a safe, nurturing space with free flow from inside to outside, weather permitting. There is a large range of activities and resources for the children to explore. The children choose what, where and how they access the space. We try and use natural/real resources where possible (instead of plastic toys) as they tend to be gender/stage/age free, therefore, providing the children with an open-ended environment to explore independently while having fun, building friendships and extending their knowledge.

Each child is recognised, valued and supported by their keyperson and the team who scaffold learning and experiences. Build self-confidence and self-reliance helping the children reach their full potential through play as we believe play makes children masters of their world.

We offer childcare for all children aged two years six months to school age.

We open Monday to Friday mornings 9.15- 12.15, term time (38 weeks).

We accept the 15-hour government funding for 3 and 4-year-old children.
